3 Ingredient Protein Latte

Shop-bought coffee can often be high in fat and sugar (unless you're opting our original protein coffee :). So rather than heading to the nearest coffee shop before work or during your lunch break for a much-needed caffeine fix, consider giving our three-ingredient chocolate protein latte a try.

Free of refined sugar, our latte is delicious, nutritious and will no doubt give you an energy boost as well.

Coffee was made for Monday mornings, after a full-on weekend it's safe to say we all love a creamy coffee to wake up with, so why not give our homemade latte a go – its an ideal way to get your dose of morning or afternoon protein.

We recommend adding the addition of vanilla PRO V-GAIN™ PROTEIN powder. It gives the latte awesome flavour and your body more than enough fuel to get you through those mid-morning, hanger-induced stomach grumbles.

Almond milk, found in our latte recipe, is made by blending almonds with water and then straining the mixture to remove the solids. It can also be made by adding water to almond butter and is great if you’re looking for a dairy-free milk substitute, whether you’re a vegan, sensitive to milk or just don't like the taste.

Many brands frequently contain added vitamin D, calcium and protein, making them more similar to regular milk in nutritional content.

What’s more, almond milk is naturally rich in several vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin E. Although almonds are 50% fat and high in calories, commercial almond milk is a low-calorie beverage.

This means you can drink a lot of it without having to worry about weight gain. Producers of almond milk dilute it with water to make its fat content similar to that of low-fat milk, which is around 1% fat.
