Taste Tips & Recipe Blends
We understand that the natural, unflavoured taste of Ultra Greens may not be for absolutely everyone, which is okay! That’s why we’ve put together our own mix recommendations (we’ve been trying these out in our SCI-MX HQ, and they’re a staff favourite)
If You’re A Sweet-Tooth
· 1x 10g level scoop of SCI-MX Ultra Greens
· 1x small handful of frozen mixed berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
· 1x medium banana
· 1x glass unsweetened almond milk
Blend all the above ingredients in a blender until the consistency is how you like it (although, we recommend you do until it’s smooth and creamy) and drink. To be extra refreshing, you can add ice-cubes.
Savoury Super Blend
· 1x 10g level scoop of SCI-MX Ultra Greens
· 1x glass of cold water
· 1x cucumber (chopped/diced)
· 1x handful of fresh spinach
· 1x sliced green apple
· 1x lemon juice (approx. one lemon)
Blend the cucumber, spinach, apple, and lemon juice with water until smooth. Then, add the scoop of Ultra Greens and continue to blend until smooth. Once all mixed, serve and drink. If you prefer your drink smooth, you can pour it through a strainer first.
Nutrient-Packed Pesto
· 1x 10g level scoop of SCI-MX Ultra Greens
· 2x handfuls of basil
· 50g pine or walnuts (whichever your preference)
· 70g parmesan cheese
· 2x cloves of garlic minced to paste
· 76ml olive oil
· 76ml olive oil
· 1x lemon juice (approx. ½ lemon)
· Salt and pepper for seasoning
Add basil, pine nuts, parmesan cheese, and garlic to a blender or processor. Blend until finely chopped. Gradually add olive oil while blending to create a smooth consistency. Add the scoop of Ultra Greens and lemon juice, blend until fully mixed.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Use as a sauce for pasta, dip for veggies or even creating your own pizza.
